Our Impact: Education and Social Welfare Initiatives
The Sarah Koji Foundation is committed to creating tangible change through our core areas of focus: Girl Child Education and Social Welfare.
Our Initiatives:
Girl Child Education:
We are actively engaged in getting tens of millions of girls back into school, particularly in Northern Nigeria, where many are currently out of school due to a combination of factors including cultural turmoil, early marriage, insecurity, and economic challenges. Our approach includes:
Establishing Educational Institutions: Setting up schools and learning centers in safe areas to provide access to quality education
Vocational Training Centers: Offering skills acquisition programs to empower girls with practical abilities for economic independence
Addressing Cultural Barriers: Working to reengineer social norms that traditionally inhibit the development of the girl child.
Social Welfare Programs:
Social Welfare Programs: Beyond education, we address the broader social and economic challenges faced by girls and their families. This includes initiatives that combat the effects of insecurity, poverty, and systemic corruption that weaken the societal fabric:
We implement our programs through a robust structure, collaborating with individuals, corporate organizations, and government agencies at various levels. This multi-faceted approach allows us to maximize our reach and impact.
Our Strategy:
Our Vision:
To foster a society where the wellbeing of the family in general, and the girl child in particular, is prioritized, ultimately leading to the betterment of the entire society.
